The Platform for the Enhancement of Children’s Rights is a unique tool designed to give children a voice and the opportunity to express their opinions on issues and decisions that affect their lives.

The platform was established as part of the project “Connecting the Dots: Joining Forces for Enhanced Child Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” funded by the European Union and implemented by the World Vision BH Foundation and the Association “Naša djeca” Sarajevo, in partnership with the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Children’s Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Ilustracija kruga

The Children’s Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established by a formal decision with the aim of Bosnia and Herzegovina fulfilling its obligations under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and its three Optional Protocols. The Council serves as a professional, cross-sectoral, advisory, and coordinating body of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its primary role is to promote and protect children’s rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a focus on monitoring the implementation of the Action Plan for Children in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Communication and Document Sharing Tools

The coordination platform uses two key applications for communication and file sharing: Zoom and Box.

Zoom is a video communication tool that supports both one-on-one and group communication. It is used for virtual meetings, training sessions, webinars, and similar activities.

Box is a secure, user-friendly application that supports the entire document lifecycle—from creating and sharing files, to joint editing, signing, classification, and storage.
