If you are 15, 16, or 17 years old, this research is a real opportunity to say what you think and ensure your voice directly contributes to future changes
Through the project “Connecting the Dots 2.0 – Advancing Child Participation in Decision Making for Enhanced Child Rights and Democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, funded by the European Union, we are currently conducting research on how children in Bosnia and Herzegovina are involved in decision‑making processes at school, in the family, in the community, and in society as a whole.
Why is this important? According to Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, every child has the right to express their views on matters that concern them—and for those views to be taken seriously. This research helps us understand to what extent this right is being applied in practice.
Your answers will:
• show adults what children want and expect,
• help identify obstacles that make it difficult for you to participate in decision‑making,
• potentially influence the creation of policies and programmes that better reflect your needs,
• contribute to strengthening democracy in BiH by involving children more actively.

Who can participate? If you are 15, 16, or 17 years old and live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we invite you to complete the online questionnaire. There are no right or wrong answers — we are only interested in your honest opinions and experiences.
How long does the questionnaire take? The questionnaire is short and easy to complete. On average, it takes about 9 minutes.
Is participation anonymous? Yes. Your responses are recorded completely anonymously and will be used solely for research purposes. Results will be presented only in aggregate form, without any possibility of linking them to you as an individual. We do not collect your name, email, location, IP address, or any other personal information that could identify you.
