To mark the International Week of the Child and the Day of Children’s Joy, the “Joy” Festival will be held on October 11 at the Goran Čengić Sports Hall—a unique, full-day event dedicated to children and families.
The “Joy” Festival offers a blend of education, play, and entertainment through a wide range of creative, sports, and educational activities. Through workshops, sports challenges, science zones, and performances by artists, children will learn about their rights in an interactive way, while also developing teamwork, imagination, and creativity. Special emphasis is placed on inclusivity and family bonding, with programs designed to connect children and parents.
Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich program—ranging from sports and art workshops, educational demonstrations by safety and rescue services, to magician performances, creative zones, a VR corner, and areas for fun and photography.
A special highlight is the Roundtable for Parents titled “Your Rights, Your Voice”, where parents will have the opportunity to learn more about children’s rights and how to support them in everyday life, as well as exchange experiences and advice with other parents and experts.
The entire concept of the festival is designed to foster togetherness and provide children with a safe, educational, and fun environment.
The Municipality of Novo Sarajevo proudly supports this project, recognizing the importance of investing in programs that promote children’s rights, creativity, and the strengthening of family values.
Admission is free, and the activities are intended for children of all ages and their families.
We warmly invite all parents and children to join us on October 11 at the Goran Čengić Sports Hall, Zvornička 23, Sarajevo, and celebrate childhood with us through play, laughter, and shared moments.
