Workshop on Children’s Rights and Responsibilities – Children’s Voices from the School Benches

As part of the project “Connecting the Dots 2.0 – Advancing Child Participation in Decision Making for Enhanced Child Rights and Democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” our association is implementing the project “Children’s Perspective: Voice of the Future” in partnership with @worldvisionbih @nasa_djeca_sa and the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, with support from @eubih.

We have continued activities in the community!

This week, we visited the Elementary School in Prokosovići, where our young facilitators from the Youth Association “Center for Youth Development” Lukavac held an interactive workshop with elementary school students.

Through engaging games, discussions, and creative tasks, the children had the chance to talk about their rights, needs, and daily challenges, as well as to experience how their voice can be important and valuable.

Children’s participation begins right here – in schools, in a safe space where they learn how to be active members of society.

The workshop in Prokosovići is yet another proof that when children are given the opportunity, they have something to say and ways to contribute to positive change.
