During today’s visit of the Austrian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mag. Georg Diwald, we had a special opportunity to present one of our key and most inspiring projects – “The Power of Youth: Together for a Better Future.”
This project is implemented as part of the broader initiative “ Connecting the Dots 2.0 – Advancing Child Participation in Decision Making for Enhanced Child Rights and Democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.” Its main goal is to empower children and youth for active participation in decision-making, volunteering, and civic activism.
The Ambassador listened with great interest to the story of the project and expressed genuine enthusiasm for the engagement of young people who don’t wait for change to happen — they initiate it themselves. He emphasized the importance of investing in youth as carriers of positive change and praised the model that strengthens their voice in the community through education, practical activities, and connection with institutions.
At a time when apathy is common among young people, “The Power of Youth” shows a different picture – one of enthusiasm, unity, and responsibility. Our participants become leaders in their communities, motivators, and drivers of change leading toward a better society for all of us.
We thank the Ambassador for his support and faith in the potential of young people. We will continue even more determined — because youth have the power, and together we build the future!
