Small Grants, Big Steps: The DIGI:MON Project Drives Change

The implementation of small grants has begun for 30 formal and informal groups across Bosnia and Herzegovina through the DIGI:MON project – Monitoring and Improving the Status of Youth through the Digital Youth Center, funded by the European Union. The project is implemented by World Vision BH Foundation in partnership with Our Children Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.

The grants provide young people with the opportunity to actively participate in their communities, strengthen their role in decision-making, and promote the implementation of the Youth Law in the Federation, Republika Srpska, and Brčko District. The focus is on empowering youth as agents of positive change, developing digital skills, and improving local communities.

These grants represent a key opportunity for young people to demonstrate their creativity, engagement, and dedication to improving the status of youth at the local level, as guaranteed by the Youth Law. The local projects are the result of detailed situational analyses previously completed by 30 youth groups,” said Nela Hukić, project manager.

The implementation of these projects contributes to the long-term social and professional development of youth throughout BiH.
