On the occasion of International Nurses Day, May 12th, an educational quiz on first aid was successfully held as part of the initiative “Be a Hero/Heroine.” The quiz brought together elementary school students from the Tuzla area, giving them the opportunity to test and expand their knowledge of basic first aid, as well as to develop a sense of responsibility and readiness to respond in emergency situations. The quiz was organized as a motivational and educational activity in which participants demonstrated impressive knowledge and a willingness to be a support in their community during critical moments.
The initiative “Be a Hero/Heroine,” carried out by the Student Council of the Tuzla Secondary Medical School, is part of the project Digi:mon – Monitoring and Improving the Status of Youth through the Digital Youth Center, financially supported by the European Union in BiH and implemented by the World Vision BH Foundation in partnership with the association Naša djeca Sarajevo, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The initiative aims to raise awareness among youth about the importance of first aid and to empower a new generation of citizens through interactive and digital content to recognize emergencies and provide help when it is most needed.
The Student Council and management of the Tuzla Secondary Medical School thank all participants and partners who contributed to the successful implementation of the quiz and invite the public to continue supporting initiatives that build more humane and resilient communities.
