This event, held simultaneously in 25 countries and more than 400 cities across Europe, is not just a night – it is a unique opportunity to highlight the crucial role of science in shaping our future. Join us in celebrating the return of European Researchers’ Night and be part of a movement that promotes science, nurtures innovation, and supports the next generation of researchers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year’s European Researchers’ Night will place special emphasis on the importance of education, innovation, and the profound impact of scientific research on our everyday lives. As we face an increasingly complex world, the contribution of scientists is more important than ever. The event will provide a dynamic platform for young minds to connect with researchers, explore the latest innovations, and understand how science drives progress and addresses today’s challenges.
European Researchers’ Night is a pan-European event supported by the European Union. It is part of Horizon Europe, the EU’s key program for research and innovation funding. Horizon Europe is of vital importance for the scientific community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing local researchers with resources and opportunities to collaborate on groundbreaking projects with colleagues across Europe. This program not only fosters scientific discoveries but also strengthens Bosnia and Herzegovina’s position within the global research community.
European Researchers’ Night brings together key organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina dedicated to promoting science and research by popularizing scientific achievements and connecting the scientific community with the wider public. Our project is the result of successful cooperation between three important partners: the Balkanfilm Association Sarajevo, the Institute for Hydrotechnics Sarajevo, and Stratega Agency from Banja Luka. Each partner contributes unique expertise and experience, enabling us to create an event that inspires, educates, and connects people of all generations.

Instructions
- Visit www.nocistrazivaca.ba or www.nocistrazivaca.rs between September 22, 00:00 and September 26, 24:00, where you will find the quiz link.
- When you open the link, enter your username and email address.
- Play the quiz and have fun!
Rules of the Game
- The email address must be valid.
- One participant = one attempt.
- Each question is worth a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 1 point.
- Each contestant has a total of 45 seconds to answer a question.
- Depending on the speed of clicking the correct answer, participants can score between 0.01 and 1 point (0.1, 0.2, 0.3 … 1).
- The quiz has 21 questions.
- After finishing the quiz, the ranking list will be displayed.
⚠️ Important Rule
The position on the ranking list immediately after the game is not final—it may change.
The final ranking list will be published 120 hours (5 days) after the quiz starts, i.e., once the quiz is fully completed.
The Hunt for Knowledge begins on September 22 at 00:00 and ends on September 26 at 24:00. After 120 hours, the quiz will no longer be available.
Winners
🏆 Winners will be announced on the organizers’ websites (www.nocistrazivaca.ba and www.nocistrazivaca.rs) on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
🎁 10 participants with the highest scores—those who answered all questions correctly in the shortest time—will receive prizes.
- Organizers will contact the winners via email and deliver prizes within 60 days of the quiz ending.
- Prizes will be sent by courier within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Personal prize collection is possible within the Republic of Serbia.
