The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, in cooperation with the organization Narko-Ne and the Public Institution Family Counseling Center (KJU Porodično savjetovalište) in Sarajevo, is implementing the “Strong Families” program. The program is designed for families with primary school-aged children, aiming to help parents cope with the daily challenges of parenting, improve family relationships, and contribute to the healthy emotional development of children. In today’s world, parenting brings many challenges, and by strengthening family bonds, the focus returns to preventive measures, emotional literacy, and healthy communication within the family, which is the foundation of society.
The program will be delivered through three professionally led sessions where parents and children will have the opportunity to develop communication skills, understanding, and joint stress management:
- First session (parents only): Wednesday, May 28, 2025, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Second session (parents and children): Wednesday, June 4, 2025, 5:30 PM – 7:45 PM
- Third session (parents and children, joint dinner): Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
The program is free of charge, and multiple children from the same family can participate. Families with primary school-aged children are encouraged to apply. If the listed dates are not suitable, applicants can express interest for future groups.
