A Reasonable Story – Episode 2: Learning, Boundaries, and Connection
Who are we?
For over two decades, the Association “Nova generacija” has been providing free support to children, youth, and families in Bosnia and Herzegovina through social protection services. Through our Day Center for children at risk, Counseling Center, and the Blue Phone helpline, we work every day to create a safer environment for growing up.
About the platform:
The Shield of the Nova generacija is a platform launched to provide financial support for our services, while actively involving individuals and companies who want to be part of the change. As part of the platform, the podcast A Reasonable Story was created, where we open important conversations about mental health, parenting, and child protection — clearly, professionally, and with deep understanding.
About the episode:
In the second episode, we discuss how to build a children’s positive attitude toward learning, what support looks like from a professional perspective, and why consistency and connection are key in developing work habits.
Our guest is Ivana Zečević, a psychologist with many years of experience working with children. She talks about developmental stages, emotional needs, and common mistakes we make when we assume we “know what a child is thinking.”
