A Reasonable Story – Episode 1: Boundaries That Protect
Who are we?
For over two decades, the Association “Nova generacija” has been providing free support to children, youth, and families in Bosnia and Herzegovina through social protection services. Through our Day Center for children at risk, Counseling Center, and the Blue Phone helpline, we work every day to create a safer environment for growing up.
About the platform:
The Shield of the Nova generacija is a platform launched to provide financial support for our services, while actively involving individuals and companies who want to be part of the change. As part of the platform, the podcast A Reasonable Story was created, where we open important conversations about mental health, parenting, and child protection — clearly, professionally, and with deep understanding.
About the episode:
In the first episode, we talk about setting boundaries — why they matter, how children perceive them, and how to set them in a way that is supportive rather than restrictive.
Our guest is ph Slavica Tutnjević, psychologist and professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Banja Luka, who shares expert insights and experiences on how boundaries actually build safety and trust in relationships with children.
